A Slightly Different Air Jordan 20 “Stealth” Returns For Its 10th Anniversary

When he had been originally designing this sneaker, Tinker Hatfield devised the concept behind this sneaker after being inspired by an elegant trumpet, motorcycle tires and racing boots. Initially, Jordanheads even felt that this pair looked weird, but it ended up growing on them and they started to find the design quite interesting, especially the laser etching on the midfoot straps. However, unlike the OG pairs, the midfoot straps feature gold etching rather than grey, which is the same gold hue seen on the 30th Anniversary Jordan Brand boxes.

The upper of this year’s version of the Air Jordan 20 “Stealth” is made up of a patent leather base with a nubuck leather midfoot strap. Mark Smith, the laser expert working for Nike, was once again the one who created the gold laser etching that symbolizes things that are somehow related to the career and life of Michael Jordan. In order to make the color scheme relate to the Chicago Bulls, the inner lining is in varsity red just like the original. Finally, the grey outsole completes the look.

However, there is still another month to wait, since March 14th, 2015 is one of next month’s Jordan release dates 2015 slated for this new jordans to hit the shelves.
