Among Jordan Brand’s sneakers that seem to be trending the most this year, the Air Jordan 2 Low can definitely be regarded as one of them. Just back in the beginning of March, Jordan Brand had whipped up an exclusive and special iteration of the Air Jordan 2 Low for three particular NCAA College basketball teams. Along with Air Jordan 2 Low PE iterations for the California Golden Bears, Georgetown Hoyas and the Marquette Golden Eagles, Jordan Brand had also designed a “UNC” rendition. Photos of another Air Jordan 2 Low “UNC” colorway have surfaced and this one will likely make its retail debut eventually.
Just recently, more detailed photos of the Air Jordan 2 Low “Chicago” popped up courtesy of SneakerPolitics.com, considering since the sneaker is scheduled to arrive at retailers very soon. Jordan Brand had originally dropped this classic silhouette back in 1994 and it is probably obvious that the colorway is inspired by the signature color palette of the Chicago Bulls. This predominantly white sneaker, with black and red detailing, is going to be making its retail debut on May 21st at a price of $160. It seems like another Air Jordan 2 Low colorway has already emerged to become the center of attention.
This sneaker is the brand new “UNC” colorway of the Air Jordan 2 Low that draws its inspiration from the university where Michael Jordan had studied and played basketball as a part of the UNC Tar Heels. Unlike the Air Jordan 2 Low PE “UNC” from March, the uppers of the upcoming version are as predominantly white as those of the “Chicago” rendition. Portions of this sneaker like its branding, heel areas, heel wraps, inner linings and the outsoles all sport midnight navy and university blue detailing.
As mentioned, the Air Jordan 2 Low “Chicago” is already on its way to retailers and it may come as a surprise that the colorway featured here is among next month’s Air Jordan releases 2016. Indeed, this Air Jordan 2 Low “UNC” will hit the shelves on June 11th and will retail at a price of $160.
