It was back in November when an all-red exotic Air Jordan 1 featuring elephant print detailing was previewed. However, official photos of the sneaker also popped up too a few days before Christmas, which apparently means that the sneaker will be making its retail debut very soon. Even with 2015 coming to an end, Jordan Brand’s commemoration of their historic 30th Anniversary still continues. So, it is not surprising that the first installment from the iconic Air Jordan line is a brand new lifestyle treatment. Next year could mark the Jordan release 2016 of another colorway of this Air Jordan 1 variant.
Now that the all-Red rendition has been officially unveiled, photos of another similar all-Black, Elephant Print-covered Air Jordan 1 version has also surfaced. This iteration actually resembles and might remind Jordanheads of another Air Jordan 1 colorway that was involved in the collaboration between Jordan Brand and Supreme. The lifestyle Air Jordan 1 variation that is being showcased here is being referred to as the “UnSupreme” due to the mentioned resemblance. Most of this sneaker’s upper, particularly its collar section, Nike Swoosh logo, toe box and vamp, is made up of premium Black-colored leather. To prevent the profile from getting downplayed, exotic Black and Grey-colored Elephant Print overlays are spread across this sneaker’s upper.
Further detailing this sneaker sports include Black-colored laces, while its ankles have the iconic Jordan Wings logo on them. Moreover, this sneaker is also equipped with a crisp White midsole and a Black-colored outsole. Even though this is a predominantly Black and Grey sneaker, the Red branding on the tongue adds the finishing touch in the form of a pop of color. It seems likely that the Jordan release 2016 of both this and the all-Red colorway of this lifestyle variant Air Jordan 1 silhouette might take place in January, and each pair will retail for $140.
