Only 1,500 Pairs Of This SoleFly x Jordan 16 Will Be Available

This past summer, Jordan Brand and SoleFly had collaborated once again to drop a “Space Project” Capsule that featured two different Jordan Eclipse colorways. A lookbook had also featured Rich The Kid laced up in both those sneakers, one of which was Mars-themed and the other was tonal Light Pink-colored. Both of them also resembled the Jordan Future since the model featured woven uppers for the very first time. Many sneakerheads probably also copped the Air Jordan 23 that resulted from the latest collaboration between these two brands. Now, it seems that they have joined forces yet again for a brand new collaboration involving the Air Jordan 16.

solefly-x-air-jordan-16-2With their recent collaboration, Jordan Brand and SoleFly commemorated MLB’s Florida Marlins, the team that is better known as the Miami Marlins today. In the MLB’s 1997 World Series, the first one that the Marlins had participated in, they had been victorious after defeating the Cleveland Indians. As plenty of sneakerheads are probably aware, a Seafoam Green hue covers the entire uppers of the SoleFly x Air Jordan 23, while it is equipped with matching translucent outsoles that are dressed in the same Seafoam Green hue. Furthermore, the traditional “23” logo can be spotted on the right tongue while SoleFly’s “SF” branding is featured on the left tongue.

On the other hand, the Air Jordan 16 that Jordan Brand and SoleFly have collectively designed is quite different. In fact, it seems like this particular colorway of the sixteenth model would have been more fitting for the Summer season and it probably even reminds many sneakerheads of South Beach. This Air Jordan 16 iteration appears to be predominantly clean, all-White sneaker, but its shroud and uppers also feature Neon Pink- and Turquoise-colored detailing. Moreover, ostrich-textured leather seems to have been used for the shroud and its signature removable gaiter has die-cut paneling below it. The other side of the shroud is predominantly covered in Hot Pink, so it can be worn reversed too.

solefly-x-air-jordan-16-3It is being reported that only a total of 1,500 pairs of the SoleFly x Air Jordan 16 have been produced. Therefore, sneakerheads should get ready to spend $275 to cop one of those pairs during Art Basel, which is scheduled to take place in Miami between December 1st and 4th.
